The Pilot Project EPIL is currently being launched in Germany as an initiative of the manufacturers’ associations BPI, Pharma Deutschland, Pro Generika and vfa.

Electronic product information leaflets (EPILs) are becoming increasingly important as they offer a variety of advantages for all relevant stakeholders.
Patients benefit from improved readability, easier access, more up-to-date information and environmental sustainability.
At the regulatory level, electronic product information leaflets are also gaining significance. Both at the European and national level, there are ongoing discussions about the legal integration of electronic product information.
This pilot project aims to test various use cases in order to gain important insights into the use of electronic product informnation leaflets.
Our goal is to promote the widespread use of electronic product information leaflets!
